The NEW Sky Trail at Twin Lakes and Avery Family Pavilion will be a place where families, campers, and community groups can come together for fun, adventure, and connection. Built by RCI Adventure Products, a global leader in ropes and climbing courses, the Sky Trail is designed with all ages in mind to build confidence, teamwork, and lifelong memories in a safe and thrilling way.

Sky Trail FAQs

The Sky Trail is a ropes and climbing adventure course built with plat forms, bridges, and balance elements. Participants wear full-body harnesses and are connected to a continuous belay system for maximum safety.

Height: Participants need to be at least 48″ (122cm) tall to participate alone. RCI requires any child between the height of 42″ (1.1m) and 48″ (1.2m) may participate with an adult . The minimum height is 42″ (1.1m) tall. The maximum height is 80″ (2.0) tall. Maximum height of 48″ (122cm) tall for Sky Tykes.

Weight: The maximum weight is 300 lbs (136kg).

Age: Our Sky Trail course is designed for kids, teens, and adults. Younger children under 48 inches may use a smaller version called Sky Tykes, designed just for them.

  • No flipflops, sandals, crocs dresses, or skirts
  • Pockets must be empty
  • Eyeglasses should be secure
  • Long hair tied back
  • Free lockers available
  • Not recommended for guests with recent surgery, pregnancy, or back/neck issues
  • No one under the influence allowed
  • All participants must have a signed waiver — checked at arrival.

No prior experience is needed. Operators help participants into their harness, review the rules, and provide a short safety briefing before climbing.

Sessions will run 45-60 minutes for all Sky Trail Courses.
