Pickleball
Pickleball is a paddle sport that blends elements from tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Played with a perforated plastic ball, similar to a whiffle ball, and composite paddles, it can be played in doubles or singles format. The game takes place on a badminton-sized court with a modified tennis net. The rules are simple, making it accessible for beginners, but the fast-paced nature can offer a challenge for experienced players. Popular among all age groups, especially seniors, pickleball is celebrated for its social aspect and its ability to provide a good workout. It’s one of the fastest-growing sports in America!
Open Play Pickleball
Courts are open and available to players of all ages and all skill levels. Using the paddle rack system when players are waiting. One game to 11 win by 2. Fun, friendly and social. Perfect opportunity to meet and play with a variety of players.

Adult Pickleball Mixed League
Join us for our Pickleball Adult Mixed League at CHASCO Family YMCA. This will run from October 3rd – October 31st on Tuesdays from 10am-12pm. Tournament will be on November 7th at 10am.
Register online or at the Member Services Desk. “Pick Your Partner”: Gender doubles (men’s or women’s) or mixed doubles, 6 teams, 12 players MAX, fun, competitive and friendly. ALL skill levels welcome!!
Format: Two full matches, best 2 out of 3 games to 11 and you must win by two, against two different teams. Four games minimum.
Skills and Drills
1.5 hours group and fun focused instruction of Pickleball fundamentals: Serve/Return of Serve, Dinking, 3rd Shot Drop, Volleys, Footwork, Positioning, Strategies and more. Great opportunity for new players.

Round Robin
Rotating partner games (one game to 11 win by 1) of all skill levels. Players must be experienced and have a basic grasp of the game and rules. Register online or at the YMCA. Minimum 4 players and maximum 8 players.
