We are proud to introduce EGYM at the Y! The CHASCO Family YMCA and Twin Lakes Family YMCA are the first locations in Central Texas to offer EGYM, a comprehensive training option that takes the guesswork out of exercise. EGYM smart circuit machines automatically adjust to your custom settings for weight, range of motion and cardiovascular exercise, guiding you through a full-body workout in as little as 20 minutes.

EGYM’S training technology takes the guesswork out of training. With a press of your EGYM band, Smart Strength and Smart Cardio equipment automatically adjust to your personal settings. It’s fun and easy to use, making exercise feel more like a game than a workout!
How Does EGYM Work?
Your first EGYM session will include:

- Assessments to determine your BioAge
- Identify muscle imbalances
- Creating a customized training plan

Do You Know Your BioAge?
Your coach will determine your BioAge by conducting a combination of strength, cardio and metabolism assessments. Your EGYM BioAge metric shows how you’re doing compared to the typical, average values of those in your age group. The BioAge metrics are a great way to easily track your workout progress.
Circuit Mode
In Circuit Mode, Smart Strength can be used optimally for guided workouts for beginners. Thanks to the synchronized equipment, all workouts are fast and effective. This optimizes the throughput and capacity of your club at peak times. In circuit mode, only the workout mode “Auto” is available.
Gameday Mode – Coming Soon
Let’s take the competitive member: Gameday brings the competitive character into the gym for the first time, because as soon as you enter, your eyes fall on the brand-new TV screen: On display – as in the member’s gym app – is a ranking of the top performers per EGYM Smart Strength machine.
