Strength classes at the Y enhance endurance, coordination, and balance using diverse equipment like weights, bands, and balls. Our group sessions blend muscle-building with a motivating atmosphere, boosting both cardiovascular capacity and muscle endurance. If you’re new to our strength classes, our instructors ensure your comfort and safety. Always feel free to ask questions – we all started somewhere!
Les Mills BodyPump
BODYPUMP™ is the original barbell workout, using light to moderate weights and high reps to get your body lean and toned. Powering through squats, presses, lifts and curls you’ll work all your major muscles as you build strength and burn calories, getting fitter, faster.

Les Mills Core
LES MILLS CORE™ is an intense core workout for functional fitness. This 30-minute personal-training inspired challenge is designed to tighten and tone the abs, glutes, back, obliques and slings connecting the upper and lower body. It improves functional strength and assists in injury prevention like nothing else.

Full Body Circuit
A total body workout is a combination of strength, core and cardio using a variety of equipment and your own body weight to get great results. This non musically driven class is for everyone at any level.

Incorporates high energy, low impact cardio combined with strength training, core work, and balance using music and fun for motivation.
